ShareWell has been proudly serving the community through its Zimmer Children’s Museum and youth development program, youTHink, for over 25 years. Through arts, immersive play and real-world action, we guide children and youth to recognize injustice and possibility within their communities and beyond, and to take meaningful, collaborative and collective action to create a better tomorrow.

In early 2019, the children’s museum will move from the Jewish Federation Building on Museum Row to the top floor of Santa Monica Place. Renamed the Cayton Children’s Museum by ShareWell, in commemoration of a generous gift from Barry and Andrea Cayton, the museum will continue to provide everything our families love plus more classroom space, a curated gift shop, access to ample parking, public transportation, and much more! Our exhibits and programs will be expanded and modernized, while retaining focus on our core values of social justice, civic engagement, diversity, and contributing to the greater good of society. Our We All Play access initiative ensures that no child or family is ever turned away due to the price of admission.

youTHink, ShareWell’s youth development program, engages more than 3,000 Title 1 public school students, ages 11-19, in creative arts education to find their voice, cultivate a social conscience, develop leadership skills and make a positive impact in their communities.
